The History of Brockton Equipment / Spilldam Inc.

Brockton Equipment / Spilldam, Inc., (the "Company") is in its 30th year of supplying materials and services to those industries involved in correction and maintenance of Hazardous Environmental situations. Throughout the 30 years, the Company has developed unique capabilities for engineering, designing and manufacturing of oil separation and containment systems for customers special applications.

In the early 1960's, the company was known as Colloidal-Spilldam offering engineering and products for the collection and treatment of Oil Spills. In 1974, the company was issued a US Patent for its design of the "Original" Spilldam, Barrier Boom. Throughout its varying forms and the changing of names to more realistically portray the sales of the times, the Company continued to be instrumental in developing quality products and providing professional services for the management of Hazardous Wastes.

In 1991, the Company was purchased by J. Walter Miller, and the name was changed to Brockton Equipment / Spilldam, Inc. The Company was reorganized to acknowledge a more aggressive approach for providing goods and services in manners that pace the dynamics of the industry that it serves. Efforts have been successful in retraining their experienced employees in the new methods and procedures for production, inventory and sales of a growing product line and resource capability.

Today, the Company continues to provide its customers a single / complete source capability for materials used in Oil Spill containment and cleanup. Advances in the Company's proprietary "Boom" manufacturing and construction techniques enable the production of quality standard or special goods at competitive prices. Research and development of new products and materials continue to be the Company's challenges for meeting the growing demands of an expansionary environmental market.
